¡Bienvenidos!

La Jefa Amaryllis Rivera Nassar

Amy’s Pastelillos began in 2018 as a tribute to Amy’s mother and a celebration of one of Puerto Rico’s most beloved frituras: the pastelillo. What started as a pop-up has since grown into a brick-and-mortar takeout spot in Philadelphia’s Fishtown neighborhood, as well as a catering and wholesale business.

Long before opening the doors to her permanent location in March 2024, Amy traveled throughout Philadelphia, bringing her food to different neighborhoods through pop-ups, collaborations, and community events. That journey helped build a loyal following and establish Amy’s Pastelillos as a destination for nostalgic Puerto Rican flavors.

Today, the menu goes beyond pastelillos, with offerings like pollito bowls, plantains, and rotating daily specials. While the menu continues to evolve, the heart of the business remains the same: honoring Amy’s mother, celebrating Puerto Rican food and culture, and sharing the comforting, familiar flavors of of the island with Philadelphia and beyond.
